Toni

I grew up in a household that loved fragrances. My parents were big designer scent collectors so it has always been a huge part of my life. In my early 20’s, I was based in Cambodia for three years and had the opportunity to write extensively about the Agarwood industry in multiple South East Asian countries. That experience opened my nose to the world of niche fragrances. Today, my taste in fragrance is pretty eclectic from sweet citruses and decadent gourmands to earthy ouds and sensual castorium.

I’m a neophyte when it comes to fragrance and I love discovering new scents every day. It definitely feels like an adventure, from sampling fragrances that evoke emotion to uncovering certain facets of yourself you thought you never had through scents. I usually go for fresh and woody scents that are apt for the heat of the Miami weather. But as my nose matures, I’ve learned to not shy away from darker scents like leather, oud, and tobacco.
